Care has always been something I specialize in.

Before launching Solid Ground Assisted Living in College Station, TX, I operated high-level care environments within the childcare industry, creating systems focused on safety, structure, and individualized attention.

But my heart for senior care started long before that.

As a young girl, I helped my grandmother care for her grandmother who had Alzheimer’s. I watched firsthand how the responsibility weighed on her, the love, the exhaustion, the emotional strain.

Later, I watched my grandmother work inside an assisted living facility. I would walk room to room with her, greeting residents, watching their eyes light up from simple attention.

That stayed with me.

I saw how much small moments mattered.

How dignity mattered.

How presence mattered.

Solid Ground was created from that understanding.

Care should feel personal.

Compassion should never feel institutional.

Families should never feel alone in the decision.
